Twenty five years in the manufacturing business came to an abrupt end.
The company I was president of .was sold and I was to go my separate way.
What do I do now???
My wife, DiAnna, suggested that we start our own mystery dinner theater.
She said.
You wrote and performed a mystery dinner theater for our church group and they loved it!
And you are head of the drama department at our church.
Are you crazy?
We can't make a living performing mystery dinner theaters!
I quickly retorted.
Well...twelve years later..she was right!
Murder by Chocolate has been growing steadily!
But It hasn't been easy.
There were many years of standing on street corners holding a sign saying Mystery Dinner Theater!
Standing in the rain and people calling me names and yelling out .
"Get a real job .loser!" |

Yes. Twelve years later and a little grayer.
We now have three locations and performed hundreds of "off-site" private parties.
Each location with the same Mystery dinner theater guidelines:
- Intriguing, suspenseful and hilarious fun!
- Family friendly (No bad language or content)
- Treat the customers like family
- To God be the Glory!
Passion:
There are companies that can provide entertainment.
But the kind of entertainment most of them provide is "R" rated or worse!
Our Passion is twofold.
One. bring families and friends together for a fun night without the worries of bad language or bad content.
Two. instead of just watching something like movies or TV, we wanted to provide entertainment that "if you choose"
you can be actively involved .
Examples are: taking on a starring role, minor role or just solving the mystery.
